What actually is Luck ?

Well, To be honest, I am also confused about what is luck? You hear people saying that she/he is lucky and unlucky. But the question is How can a person be lucky or unlucky? Does luck really exists or it is a state of mind? Everybody may have different perception about this but answers are what we actually want. Well, I guess you are lucky 😉 if you already have an answer or many, depends on how much you think.

Luck is success or failure which is apparently by chance rather than one’s deeds. Sometimes luck can be a positive energy that gives us power and hopes to succeed. Some people seem born lucky, everything they touch turns to gold whereas are clung with misfortune and hard luck.

Luck also depends upon the situation of a person. Someone who has just experienced a plane crash sees this situation as unlucky, after breaking the legs. On the other hand, the same person can say “I am very lucky to survive the plane crash and be here.” Luck certainly seems to be a state of mind.

Digging the history of luck, it is believed that luck is a derivation of the Sanskrit word “Lakshmi“. Where Lakshmi means Lady Luck of money and fortune.

According to Hindu mythology, Rebirth in the human race is also a matter of luck. It depends upon the Karmas of premature birth. Lord Krishna says that the Karmas of previous birth reflect the fate, destiny, and luck of the subsequent births.

According to a survey by Weisman People whom we consider lucky are more relaxed and open. They are not focused on a single task, they are cool minded people.
